You can't even lead a horse to water, let alone make it drink

Most people live in a myth and grow violently angry if anyone dares to tell them the truth about themselves.
Robert Anton Wilson
So much of our time is spent trying to teach, to persuade, to educate and enlighten. We seek to make others aware in many ways, and in the age of social media it has become commonplace for contrary ideologies to clash. We debate and we proselytize, we call out perceived logical fallacies, we quote statistics to bolster our positions. We scream into the wind desperately clinging to the notion that if we could just make ‘them’ aware, like dominoes the rest would somehow fall into place, and a ‘better world would be possible’.
Sadly, I don’t believe this to be true. I don’t believe you can ever change someone’s mind in an echo chamber, can’t ever overcome cognitive dissonance with clever witticisms, won’t ever defeat confirmation bias with hugs and statistics. I truly feel that the only way to change the world is to change yourself, and the only way one changes themselves is by themselves, of their own volition. You can try to educate, you can point to the destination, but they will never follow the path you lay out, they must find their own path to the knowledge if they are ever going to accept it, truly internalize and use it for growth.
this doesn’t mean stop disseminating the knowledge, it simply means that I feel we must simply make the knowledge available, and leave it at that. I feel we should stop fighting and trying to convince, and simply share. Share what you have learned and experienced. Share the books and artists that have inspired you. Let others make the connections themselves. Perhaps when they have torn down the constructs and reality tunnels they mentally and spiritually dwell in, they will be free to open hearts and minds and bring about the change in themselves that you have. Maybe they will even be better, and in turn educate you.

Empires Fall

rainbow
My advice to people today is as follows: if you take the game of life seriously, if you take your nervous system seriously, if you take your sense organs seriously, if you take the energy process seriously, you must turn on, tune in, and drop out.
Timothy Leary
people dedicate their lives to believing in a concept; of nation, of righteousness, as a concrete reality. as it crumbles, madness ensues. as the ponzi scheme of belief structures topples, and the new generation is finally worse off than the last, reality breaks and chaos reigns. as tensions mount we will see riots over trivial matters that senselessly enrage; fashion choices; pants riding low turns to a bloodbath. all those ‘good citizens’ that a year ago wouldn’t raise their voices as cops killed their children now set the city to burn over sports.
we have had reality generation-ally created for us by our slave masters. as the truth overwrites their reality, a breaking point approaches. they run the planet using fear and dissension. eventually tension breaks the strongest bow. eventually all beliefs are lost. #EmpiresFall
its smoke and mirrors, kids. its divide distract and misdirect. you are looking at created reality through the fog in a dirty mirror. materialism, capitalism all brass rings you are never going to grasp. its not a rat race its a sheep herding. we need to be a global family. the protestant work ethic is a psyop. the fear paradigm as well. we have been being worked for centuries and time is running out.
embrace the divine in all that exists. be your own star. be all that makes you whole. forget borders, hierarchy, divisions, materialism. live, love, and above all tune in, turn on and drop out!

Be as a child

Mallory: Wherever we go, whatever happens, Mickey, when I look up at the stars, I’ll know you’ll be lookin’ up at the same ones.
Mickey: Same ones, baby
Mallory: You make everyday feel like kindergarten. — (Natural Born Killers)
Look at a child, and you will see what freedom looks like. A child is like a flower, a wild animal, the wind.. Free. Unfettered. A child doesn’t have the network of agreements that adults have made weighing it down. A child doesn’t yet carry the baggage that parents, teachers, the media and society as a whole has forced it to carry. A child doesn’t look back with regrets at yesterday, nor with anticipation for tomorrow. A child simply is in the NOW. Enjoying this moment, not a care in the world except having fun. Not comparing the NOW to any time past, nor thinking about how it will be. A child dwells in the NOW naturally, filled with wonder and an almost hedonistic form of innocence. The ability to live in the NOW is a gift that far too many of us have buried beneath all the constraints and agreements we have put upon ourselves and allowed to be placed upon us by others. Be aware of these agreements, and begin to break them. Recognize that society is invested in keeping you chained to these agreements, that it will fight for its survival anyway it can, but you can be triumphant. Remember to not take it personally, when they use things like ‘You’re such a child. Grow up. Don’t be so immature’ as insults. They are just afraid, and have their own agreements to deal with. They are conditioned, as you are, as your parents and teachers were. They know no better. But when you no longer take it personally, you will come to realize that the things people say about you actually have more to do with them, and their own fears and issues, than they do about you. Don't take the negative things personally, but do not take the positive things personally either. The person saying ‘oh you are so clever’ has just as many agreements and issues as the person saying ‘you are so dumb’, they are both simply comparing you to themselves, and what they fear. Don’t carry their baggage as well as your own. Don’t take it personally, for when you do you allow others poison to enter into you, spreading the sickness. Simply do your best every day at everything you do, and only choose to do things you truly enjoy. This is a key to once again becoming like a child, and instead of being just another cog in a hellish machine that is ‘modern life’ you can be standing an a heaven of your own creation, part of the universal mind that longs to embrace us all.

We are all stars

“We have to create culture, don’t watch TV, don’t read magazines, don’t even listen to NPR. Create your own roadshow. The nexus of space and time where you are now is the most immediate sector of your universe, and if you’re worrying about Michael Jackson or Bill Clinton or somebody else, then you are disempowered, you’re giving it all away to icons, icons which are maintained by an electronic media so that you want to dress like X or have lips like Y. This is shit-brained, this kind of thinking. That is all cultural diversion, and what is real is you and your friends and your associations, your highs, your orgasms, your hopes, your plans, your fears. And we are told ‘no’, we’re unimportant, we’re peripheral. ‘Get a degree, get a job, get a this, get a that.’ And then you’re a player, you don’t want to even play in that game. You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.”
― Terence McKenna
Think of existence like a movie. In it, you are not only the director, but the star, and everyone else is an extra or a secondary actor. Now realize that this is EVERYONE’s point of view, each of us perceiving things from this point of view. Our agreements of reality, our perceptions, define existence, and we are like a billion people in a room each shouting out slightly to extremely different instructions, each creating their own ‘reality’. No wonder what we see as ‘reality’ is so chaotic! But this is the way of ‘life’ we have created, and it gets passed down, ie indoctrinated, into all of us from birth. We have these agreements programmed into us before we can even piece them together, and they sometimes conflict even with each other. We come into existence as magical universe creators, but have the framework of the status quo imposed upon us from birth. Rewards for the good girl or boy, punishment for the naughty. Conform at all costs.
We must break all these binding agreements, the ones made for us, the ones we have participated in, and the ones we make to ourselves. We must learn once again to be creative forces of nature, not automatons. We must stop the metaphysical bleeding we inflict on ourselves and others. If hell is the place where punishment is meted out, and torment and suffering the daily norm, we are indeed in hell already, a hell we created ourselves. We punish ourselves a thousand times over for things we should have long forgiven and learned from. How many times a day do we revisit old mistakes we made, and mentally or emotionally beat ourselves up for them again and again? How much torture and torment do we inflict on ourselves, or allow to be inflicted upon us? We need to move on. To accept we are not perfect beings. We make a mistake, do a wrong, and accept the repercussions but then MUST move on. Participate in creating your own paradise instead of everyone’s ideal hell. Don’t join in another groups plans for fulfillment, for redemption, and in doing so take on a new set of ‘agreements’, a different master playing the same tune. Instead stand on your own, clean up your own ‘production’, and learn to love yourself as a creative being.

Assumptions

rainbow
Do not get angry or harm any living creature, but be compassionate and gentle; show good will to all. Cultivate vigor, patience, will, purity; avoid malice and pride. Then, you will achieve your destiny.
~ Krishna, from The Bhagavad Gita
You often hear ‘When you assume, you make an ass of you and me’, but the truth is far more destructive. One of the biggest problem in relationships, for example, comes from assumptions we make. Maybe we assume our partner feels the same way as we do, or we assume that they know the way we like something done, and if they don’t do it that particular way then we assume they either consciously decided not to, or were acting thoughtlessly, and we get hurt emotionally. Perhaps we carry some anger through the day over it, and we assume they notice our mood, and get even angrier because they don’t react to it. Its a spiral of poison that we inflict on ourselves and each other. Assumptions are one of the little soul eaters, one of many injections of poison that make this smokey mirror we call life a little darker, a little more hellish. We make assumptions from a false base, from a paradigm of agreements that were laid out for us by others. While we try, as we should, to shed the template of agreements that have been indoctrinated into us, by teachers, parents, society as a whole, making assumptions can cause many missteps as well. We assume we should be better than we are, we assume our progress should be at a point it is not, which leads us to assume we are failing and in turn causes us to think negatively of ourselves. One of the agreements bred into us is the assumption of perfection. We are taught to strive for perfection at all times, an impossible task. In turn, we feel poorly about ourselves for failing to be perfect. A vicious circle indeed! When we stop assuming, though, much of the negativity is cleared, and coupled with always doing your best can lighten the path for your eventual mental, emotional and physical freedom! When you decide to always do your best, no matter what, at everything you do, there is no room for negative self esteem if you do not achieve perfection, or even success! You can take pride in knowing you always try your best, regardless of circumstance. Some days you will do better than others, there is no hard and fast scale of what your ‘best’ is. Perhaps you feel ill today, or exhausted. But if you are determined to do the best you are capable of it will be just as rewarding as your ‘best’ is on days you are healthy and rested. You will find enormous happiness from these two simple agreements, never making assumptions, and always doing your best at whatever you are doing, because you are eliminating the negative poisons from the equation. And when you discover your true purpose, whatever that may be, you will be prepared to always do it at the best level you are capable of, seeing clearly as the fog we call reality dissipates with each new day.

Real talk

Every war results from the struggle for markets and spheres of influence, and every war is sold to the public by professional liars and totally sincere religious maniacs, as a Holy Crusade to save God and Goodness from Satan and Evil.
Robert Anton Wilson
Too many people fail to realize when they are being manipulated. This is especially true within the groups that claim to be standing against manipulation. Too many people, filled with righteous indignation, rage at their live streams of ‘noble’ citizen journalists, watching ‘freedom fighters’ raising their fists in protest against the nameless faceless machine. What they don’t realize is that they are being manipulated as well, by the very groups they cling to. The simple fact is you cannot change the world from within a group dynamic. Group dynamics are actually what is most wrong with this existence we call life, this smoke filled mirror that reflects off kilter what we choose to call reality. We are not billions of humans sharing a universal experience. We are a universe sharing a billion human experiences. We are all in this together because we are all a single entity, made of the same stuff as the stars, the oceans, and everything in between. We are all part and parcel of the same infinity. We have only created this reality we call life out of fear, out of greed, and out of wonder. When we form groups, we aren’t joining together, we are further dividing ourselves. We foolishly try to change a false paradigm, an existence that doesn’t in fact exist, a world that is an illusion, and instead of trying to change ourselves we try to create an environment more comfortable to our not-selves. We are all ghosts in the machine, knots in a string, and we are all tasked with fixing ourselves, untying our own knot-selves and smoothing out the true string. Deep down, we all know this to be true, and this consciousness leaks through in our thoughts and our myths and our media. Our fables and our foibles are all evidence of this truth. We must remember that when we war on anything, when we battle and protest and team up and choose sides, we are acting against our TRUE selves, our TRUE nature, and whether you are fighting the terrorists for the corporations or fighting the corporations for the people or fighting the people themselves to ‘wake them up’ you are still the very root of what is wrong within our infinite sphere. As a wise one once said, ‘Checketh thyself, before you Wrecketh thyself’ =)

We are all in this together

We are not going to be able to operate our Spaceship Earth successfully nor for much longer unless we see it as a whole spaceship and our fate as common. It has to be everybody or nobody.
R. Buckminster Fuller
fuller_pavilion
We are all in this together. These words are more than a clever catchphrase, but are instead a blueprint. The blueprint, if you will, that unlocks all the secrets of the multiverse. We are all one being, and not just humankind, but everything; all the animals, all the trees, all the rocks dirt and space that makes up everything, both seen and unseen. We are all made from the same stuff, and we are part of a single living universal eco-sphere. The problem, as has been hinted at throughout time via myth, via tales told around fires and biblical fable, comes in the separations we have created in perceptions. The negative energies, personified by the elite, are always seeking to control and distract us from this fact. The tale of the tower of Babel, for example, speaks on this, telling us in allegorical form, of how humankind in its quest to rejoin its ‘god’ joined together to build a massive tower. Furious at this perceived hubris, ‘god’ smashed the tower, and muddled humanities mind so that many languages were created, dividing humanity so that we could not communicate with one another as one. The tale, of course, was created by the negative power elite of the time, as a way of controlling us all. The main weapon of this power hungry elite is that of division, pushing us into groups, tribes, nations, races, factions ideologically opposed to one another. They seek to control us via fear of what ‘the others’ may do to us, the so called threats they pose to ‘our way of life’. This practice continues to this day, as seen in political parties, and other groups we are divided into. The control is sometimes quite subtle, for example the use of the mass media to spread fear of strangers. News stories are spread far and wide about strangers who threaten our children, a primal fear, and in turn we teach our children not to talk to strangers, to fear the unknown, instead of reaching out a hand to neighbors. We are taught to lock our doors tight, to mistrust everyone for the enemy is ‘always among us’, invisible and evil, waiting to pounce. Less subtle is the propaganda that is spread to incite war, the ‘terrorist threat’ or the ‘infidels’ lurking globally, seeking our destruction. Our cities are constructed to separate social groups, with ‘ghettos’ that the system imprisons people along racial lines, manipulating events and opportunities to keep those who are downtrodden down, and the rest of us in fear of the ‘bad neighborhoods’. They convince us that ‘they’ have ‘their culture and music’ and ‘we have ours’. They perpetuate groups that on their face are striving for equality for races, genders, social status and sexuality, but in effect simply emphasize and maintain the separations. We play along like sheep, creating our own divisions, creating new groups and movements to fight the other groups. Anything that divides us is used by the negative elite to distract us from the truth that we are all in this together, that instead of fighting for our own ‘rights’ and ‘freedoms’ we need to be as one universally and then we will BE free. All the marches in the world, all the ‘occupy’ and ‘liberations’ and ‘tea parties’, will not free us, but only further divide us, and the negative elite smile in the knowledge that we are driving ourselves further away from the ultimate peace, the ultimate freedom. And it is a simple thing to combat. The solution has been hidden in every religion, in every fable, in every myth. Deep down in our collective consciousness we send ourselves the message, the answer to all that plagues us and holds us back. All we need to do is love. Some form of the golden rule exists universally: Love one another as you love yourself. This is a literal formula, for each other IS our selves. Existence is a vibration, in essence, and every new note brings more disharmony. Even when we play a chord as one, we still miss the purity of a single note chimed en masse, the single note that will raise our consciousness to the next dimension, where ‘we are all in this together’ will be seen to be far more than a concept. It will be a reality.

The heart of the matter.

The difference between a democracy and a dictatorship is that in a democracy you vote first and take orders later; in a dictatorship you don’t have to waste your time voting.
Charles Bukowski
peace1
Equality. The core belief that we are all in this together requires us all to acknowledge that we are all equals in this existence. Whether we are rich or poor, old or young, gay or straight or everything in between, we are all deserving of the same rights and respect. Whether we are black or white, Sunni or Shi’ite, creative or content, we all are worthy of love, life, and the freedom to explore the multiverse in order to search for and fulfill our purpose. Democracy alludes to this basic universal requirement, but instead of actually practicing that basic tenet, democracy instead limits the rights we are ‘granted’, and in fact creates divisions among us which in turn lends itself to discrimination. The truth is that all a Democracy is, is three wolves and a sheep voting on who’s for dinner, and any system that starts off by dividing us into groups is inherently a negative one. As I have said countless times, I would allow the general populace to ‘vote’ on every minute of my life, as long i I was the one who provided the two options. Consider that deeply, and think of all the implications of it, for it is more than a glib twitter line, a throwaway philosophy, but a basic truth and reflection of the system we have allowed ourselves to be enslaved by. Voting is not freedom. Voting is not ‘control’ over your society. Voting as practiced by the elite is simply an illusion of choice, and a tool to divide us. This is not to say that any other so called ‘system of government’ are the right one, or even better choices. The heart of the matter, the core of the truth is that the only choice is to dissolve the borders that divide us, shatter the bondage of discrimination and hate, and embrace true love for all, true love of every man women child, every beast and every tree, every rock and plant, every possibility. We must love ourselves, and each other, for we are truly all in this together.

Time for a change

Humanity has become institutionalized, from complacency and apathy to greed, we have sold each other and ourselves out for a front row seat in the comfy cage of wage slavery and division. We have put a price tag on compassion, left our fellow beings to starve, to suffer. We have accepted discrimination, oppression, racism, sexism, homophobia as the norm, almost like we were rooting for our local team. Humanity is too content wallowing in its own filth to realize how utterly used it is. Much like the protesters of the 60′s, we have seen every movement co-opted, or worse, used by its false idols to enrich themselves at our expense. We are drugged, placated, allowed to occasionally spread our wings so we get the warm fuzzies to help us sleep at night fooling ourselves into thinking we are at least trying. Cycles repeat because they are effective to the elite. yay protest. yay us. Someday when they are selling your ideals like bell bottoms and macrame, you can tell ‘war stories’ of ‘the impact you had’. rinse repeat.
Pull out, tribe up, break the cycle.
The only way to win the freedom for all humankind is to remove our pieces from the board. The elite CANNOT survive if we don’t play along. Will you do what needs to be done in order to care for all living beings, in order to be one humankind, living with HUMANITY and COMPASSION? Probably not. Like most before and after us, we will embrace our slave masters, fight each other over labels that divide, and be happy to be oppressed as long as we have our internet hook up, reality tv, and video games. It’s time to put up or shut up. time to pull out or die out.
Time for change.

Capitalism is a lie

We must do away with the absolutely specious notion that everybody has to earn a living. It is a fact today that one in ten thousand of us can make a technological breakthrough capable of supporting all the rest. The youth of today are absolutely right in recognizing this nonsense of earning a living. We keep inventing jobs because of this false idea that everybody has to be employed at some kind of drudgery because, according to Malthusian-Darwinian theory, he must justify his right to exist. So we have inspectors of inspectors and people making instruments for inspectors to inspect inspectors. The true business of people should be to go back to school and think about whatever it was they were thinking about before somebody came along and told them they had to earn a living.

Buckminster Fuller

He Will Not Divide Us

HEWILLNOTDIVIDE.US is a participatory performance by LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner that invites the public to deliver the words “He will not divide us” into a camera mounted on a wall outside the Museum of the Moving Image, repeating the phrase as many times, and for as long as they wish. The performance commences at 9:00 a.m. on January 20, 2017, the day of the inauguration of the 45th President of the United States.
Open to all, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the participatory performance will be live-streamed continuously at www.hewillnotdivide.us for four years, or the duration of the presidency. In this way, the mantra "HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US" acts as a show of resistance or insistence, opposition or optimism, guided by the spirit of each individual participant and the community.

It's a new day, yes it is

You can change the world today. Spread love. More to come.

The format is designed to educate, be a networking opportunity, give quality video footage for you to use to promote yourself, as well as provide you with a chance to be booked in the WWN Family! There have already been over 25 talents booked on WWN Family events from the WWN Seminar/Tryout, including Darby Allin, Jason Kincaid, The Gatekeepers and referee DA Brewer earning fulltime spots in EVOLVE.

Catch Point leader Tracy Williams and former UFC standout Matt Riddle take over as co-head trainers for 2017. This means the Seminar/Tryouts will provide a different educational experience than in previous years. Williams will focus on techniques and principles that are prominent in EVOLVE. Riddle will teach ways to incorporate MMA principles into pro wrestling.

Each Seminar/Tryout will see participants given a five minute tryout match in front of talent evaluators including Sapolsky. The Tryout matches will be taped with multiple cameras in HD and sent to you to use any way you want. This is professional footage needed for modern resumes. You will also receive critiques and evaluations.

Sapolsky will share his 23 years for experience and give a lecture on "How To Get Booked" in each Seminar/Tryout. This will be updated for 2017. This is the way to get booked in various promotions, make yourself valuable and the things that will get you to WWE.

The cost of the January 27th Seminar/Tryout is a special rate at only $99 since we are announcing it on short notice. It will include everything mentioned above.

The price of the March 30th Seminar/Tryout is $299. This Seminar/Tryout will include everything mentioned above, plus high ranking WWE officials will be in attendance. Last year's WWN Seminar/Tryout saw special guests Director of WWE Scouting & Talent Development William Regal, WWE Performance Center Head Coach Matt Bloom and Senior Director of Talent Development for WWE Canyon Cemen all give lectures and help evaluate participants. This is the only WWN Seminar/Tryout of the year where we have access to so many top ranking WWE officials at the same time.

To take advantage of these learning experiences and opportunities, please fill out the application. This is your chance to improve, learn and get booked!

The 2nd ever WWN Creative Seminar will be hosted by Gabe Sapolsky, who has a resume that includes current WWN VP Of Creative, Ring Of Honor Co-Founder and Booker as well as Personal Assistant To Paul Heyman.

This is a rare learning experience and opportunity for anyone who ever wanted to get into the writing, booking, creative, producing or promoting side of professional wrestling. Sapolsky learned from some of the greatest minds in wrestling. He worked closely with Heyman all throughout the ECW years. Sapolsky also learned from veterans along the way and continues to do so with EVOLVE's association with WWE. He will pass on the booking/writing/producing fundamentals in this Seminar.

The Creative Seminar on March 31st will include:

-A lecture from Sapolsky about how to break into wrestling and grow.

-A lecture on creative principles by Sapolsky. This will be very comprehensive and cover a number of different subjects.

-In a unique learning experience, Sapolsky will go over the EVOLVE 80 card from the previous night and EVOLVE 81 card from that afternoon. He will go over the notes and format sent to the wrestlers and staff. Then in hindsight, we will be able to examine what worked, what didn't work, what direction is set and why all these things are happening. You are encouraged to watch the EVOLVE 80 and EVOLVE 81 events live to get the most out of this Seminar.

-There will also be a question and answer session.

If you want to find out what it takes to get into the creative side of wrestling, this is the chance you've been waiting for. The price for the entire day will be $149.

If you are interested, write in a paragraph on what kind of experience you have and why you want to get into wrestling. Put WWN Creative Seminar in the heading. Email it to Help@WWNLive.com. We will respond. Thank you.

We are very proud at WWN to offer these three unique Seminars to give back to the wrestling industry. You will leave with the tools to advance. This is opportunity.
