Empires Fall

rainbow
My advice to people today is as follows: if you take the game of life seriously, if you take your nervous system seriously, if you take your sense organs seriously, if you take the energy process seriously, you must turn on, tune in, and drop out.
Timothy Leary
people dedicate their lives to believing in a concept; of nation, of righteousness, as a concrete reality. as it crumbles, madness ensues. as the ponzi scheme of belief structures topples, and the new generation is finally worse off than the last, reality breaks and chaos reigns. as tensions mount we will see riots over trivial matters that senselessly enrage; fashion choices; pants riding low turns to a bloodbath. all those ‘good citizens’ that a year ago wouldn’t raise their voices as cops killed their children now set the city to burn over sports.
we have had reality generation-ally created for us by our slave masters. as the truth overwrites their reality, a breaking point approaches. they run the planet using fear and dissension. eventually tension breaks the strongest bow. eventually all beliefs are lost. #EmpiresFall
its smoke and mirrors, kids. its divide distract and misdirect. you are looking at created reality through the fog in a dirty mirror. materialism, capitalism all brass rings you are never going to grasp. its not a rat race its a sheep herding. we need to be a global family. the protestant work ethic is a psyop. the fear paradigm as well. we have been being worked for centuries and time is running out.
embrace the divine in all that exists. be your own star. be all that makes you whole. forget borders, hierarchy, divisions, materialism. live, love, and above all tune in, turn on and drop out!

Be as a child

Mallory: Wherever we go, whatever happens, Mickey, when I look up at the stars, I’ll know you’ll be lookin’ up at the same ones.
Mickey: Same ones, baby
Mallory: You make everyday feel like kindergarten. — (Natural Born Killers)
Look at a child, and you will see what freedom looks like. A child is like a flower, a wild animal, the wind.. Free. Unfettered. A child doesn’t have the network of agreements that adults have made weighing it down. A child doesn’t yet carry the baggage that parents, teachers, the media and society as a whole has forced it to carry. A child doesn’t look back with regrets at yesterday, nor with anticipation for tomorrow. A child simply is in the NOW. Enjoying this moment, not a care in the world except having fun. Not comparing the NOW to any time past, nor thinking about how it will be. A child dwells in the NOW naturally, filled with wonder and an almost hedonistic form of innocence. The ability to live in the NOW is a gift that far too many of us have buried beneath all the constraints and agreements we have put upon ourselves and allowed to be placed upon us by others. Be aware of these agreements, and begin to break them. Recognize that society is invested in keeping you chained to these agreements, that it will fight for its survival anyway it can, but you can be triumphant. Remember to not take it personally, when they use things like ‘You’re such a child. Grow up. Don’t be so immature’ as insults. They are just afraid, and have their own agreements to deal with. They are conditioned, as you are, as your parents and teachers were. They know no better. But when you no longer take it personally, you will come to realize that the things people say about you actually have more to do with them, and their own fears and issues, than they do about you. Don't take the negative things personally, but do not take the positive things personally either. The person saying ‘oh you are so clever’ has just as many agreements and issues as the person saying ‘you are so dumb’, they are both simply comparing you to themselves, and what they fear. Don’t carry their baggage as well as your own. Don’t take it personally, for when you do you allow others poison to enter into you, spreading the sickness. Simply do your best every day at everything you do, and only choose to do things you truly enjoy. This is a key to once again becoming like a child, and instead of being just another cog in a hellish machine that is ‘modern life’ you can be standing an a heaven of your own creation, part of the universal mind that longs to embrace us all.

We are all stars

“We have to create culture, don’t watch TV, don’t read magazines, don’t even listen to NPR. Create your own roadshow. The nexus of space and time where you are now is the most immediate sector of your universe, and if you’re worrying about Michael Jackson or Bill Clinton or somebody else, then you are disempowered, you’re giving it all away to icons, icons which are maintained by an electronic media so that you want to dress like X or have lips like Y. This is shit-brained, this kind of thinking. That is all cultural diversion, and what is real is you and your friends and your associations, your highs, your orgasms, your hopes, your plans, your fears. And we are told ‘no’, we’re unimportant, we’re peripheral. ‘Get a degree, get a job, get a this, get a that.’ And then you’re a player, you don’t want to even play in that game. You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.”
― Terence McKenna
Think of existence like a movie. In it, you are not only the director, but the star, and everyone else is an extra or a secondary actor. Now realize that this is EVERYONE’s point of view, each of us perceiving things from this point of view. Our agreements of reality, our perceptions, define existence, and we are like a billion people in a room each shouting out slightly to extremely different instructions, each creating their own ‘reality’. No wonder what we see as ‘reality’ is so chaotic! But this is the way of ‘life’ we have created, and it gets passed down, ie indoctrinated, into all of us from birth. We have these agreements programmed into us before we can even piece them together, and they sometimes conflict even with each other. We come into existence as magical universe creators, but have the framework of the status quo imposed upon us from birth. Rewards for the good girl or boy, punishment for the naughty. Conform at all costs.
We must break all these binding agreements, the ones made for us, the ones we have participated in, and the ones we make to ourselves. We must learn once again to be creative forces of nature, not automatons. We must stop the metaphysical bleeding we inflict on ourselves and others. If hell is the place where punishment is meted out, and torment and suffering the daily norm, we are indeed in hell already, a hell we created ourselves. We punish ourselves a thousand times over for things we should have long forgiven and learned from. How many times a day do we revisit old mistakes we made, and mentally or emotionally beat ourselves up for them again and again? How much torture and torment do we inflict on ourselves, or allow to be inflicted upon us? We need to move on. To accept we are not perfect beings. We make a mistake, do a wrong, and accept the repercussions but then MUST move on. Participate in creating your own paradise instead of everyone’s ideal hell. Don’t join in another groups plans for fulfillment, for redemption, and in doing so take on a new set of ‘agreements’, a different master playing the same tune. Instead stand on your own, clean up your own ‘production’, and learn to love yourself as a creative being.

Assumptions

rainbow
Do not get angry or harm any living creature, but be compassionate and gentle; show good will to all. Cultivate vigor, patience, will, purity; avoid malice and pride. Then, you will achieve your destiny.
~ Krishna, from The Bhagavad Gita
You often hear ‘When you assume, you make an ass of you and me’, but the truth is far more destructive. One of the biggest problem in relationships, for example, comes from assumptions we make. Maybe we assume our partner feels the same way as we do, or we assume that they know the way we like something done, and if they don’t do it that particular way then we assume they either consciously decided not to, or were acting thoughtlessly, and we get hurt emotionally. Perhaps we carry some anger through the day over it, and we assume they notice our mood, and get even angrier because they don’t react to it. Its a spiral of poison that we inflict on ourselves and each other. Assumptions are one of the little soul eaters, one of many injections of poison that make this smokey mirror we call life a little darker, a little more hellish. We make assumptions from a false base, from a paradigm of agreements that were laid out for us by others. While we try, as we should, to shed the template of agreements that have been indoctrinated into us, by teachers, parents, society as a whole, making assumptions can cause many missteps as well. We assume we should be better than we are, we assume our progress should be at a point it is not, which leads us to assume we are failing and in turn causes us to think negatively of ourselves. One of the agreements bred into us is the assumption of perfection. We are taught to strive for perfection at all times, an impossible task. In turn, we feel poorly about ourselves for failing to be perfect. A vicious circle indeed! When we stop assuming, though, much of the negativity is cleared, and coupled with always doing your best can lighten the path for your eventual mental, emotional and physical freedom! When you decide to always do your best, no matter what, at everything you do, there is no room for negative self esteem if you do not achieve perfection, or even success! You can take pride in knowing you always try your best, regardless of circumstance. Some days you will do better than others, there is no hard and fast scale of what your ‘best’ is. Perhaps you feel ill today, or exhausted. But if you are determined to do the best you are capable of it will be just as rewarding as your ‘best’ is on days you are healthy and rested. You will find enormous happiness from these two simple agreements, never making assumptions, and always doing your best at whatever you are doing, because you are eliminating the negative poisons from the equation. And when you discover your true purpose, whatever that may be, you will be prepared to always do it at the best level you are capable of, seeing clearly as the fog we call reality dissipates with each new day.

Real talk

Every war results from the struggle for markets and spheres of influence, and every war is sold to the public by professional liars and totally sincere religious maniacs, as a Holy Crusade to save God and Goodness from Satan and Evil.
Robert Anton Wilson
Too many people fail to realize when they are being manipulated. This is especially true within the groups that claim to be standing against manipulation. Too many people, filled with righteous indignation, rage at their live streams of ‘noble’ citizen journalists, watching ‘freedom fighters’ raising their fists in protest against the nameless faceless machine. What they don’t realize is that they are being manipulated as well, by the very groups they cling to. The simple fact is you cannot change the world from within a group dynamic. Group dynamics are actually what is most wrong with this existence we call life, this smoke filled mirror that reflects off kilter what we choose to call reality. We are not billions of humans sharing a universal experience. We are a universe sharing a billion human experiences. We are all in this together because we are all a single entity, made of the same stuff as the stars, the oceans, and everything in between. We are all part and parcel of the same infinity. We have only created this reality we call life out of fear, out of greed, and out of wonder. When we form groups, we aren’t joining together, we are further dividing ourselves. We foolishly try to change a false paradigm, an existence that doesn’t in fact exist, a world that is an illusion, and instead of trying to change ourselves we try to create an environment more comfortable to our not-selves. We are all ghosts in the machine, knots in a string, and we are all tasked with fixing ourselves, untying our own knot-selves and smoothing out the true string. Deep down, we all know this to be true, and this consciousness leaks through in our thoughts and our myths and our media. Our fables and our foibles are all evidence of this truth. We must remember that when we war on anything, when we battle and protest and team up and choose sides, we are acting against our TRUE selves, our TRUE nature, and whether you are fighting the terrorists for the corporations or fighting the corporations for the people or fighting the people themselves to ‘wake them up’ you are still the very root of what is wrong within our infinite sphere. As a wise one once said, ‘Checketh thyself, before you Wrecketh thyself’ =)
