Sisters, brothers, compañeras and compañeros. I send you an affectionate and combative salute from my place of struggle and resistance.
On this traditional day of the dead we remember those fallen, disappeared, and assassinated by the capitalist state.
On this day we honor our dead who are victims of injustice, who have been taken in the struggle against this political system of death. This system is more dangerous than a virus. It has killed so many compañerxs in order to dispossess us of our territories and exploit mother earth.
The capitalist system is for the benefit of the powerful and the extermination of us, the Indigenous, together with our mother earth.
But the spirit of the struggle of our fallen and dead continues with us. They have left the seed in our hearts to continue weaving ties of justice, truth, and freedom. Those of us who continue in the struggle will not give up in the face of the repressor and assassin state that continues to intimidate us with assassinations, forced disappearances, and imprisonment. We will continue struggling and resisting this corrupt system with rebellion.
Sincerely,
Organization Vineketik en Resistencia
Marcelino Ruíz Gómez
